History

Today, Lawrenceville boasts a global economy with residents and visitors from around the world. In addition to a wealth of business and professional opportunities already in place, Gwinnett Medical Center is in the midst of a major expansion to its Lawrenceville campus, increasing its capacity and services to meet the future needs of the county.

The newly chartered Georgia Gwinnett College welcomed its first freshman class Fall of 2007 and plans an estimated enrollment of 10,000 – 15,000 students by 2012.
